Belgrade was once again the city with a great atmosphere and a rich program. The New Year’s special edition BNM took place at the Skadaralija market (the Bajloni market) on Dec 3rd from 4 to 10 pm, and helped make the atmosphere even better. Markets that are organized during the summer months this year, the markets Skadarlija (Bajloni), Kalenić and Block 44, very quickly become urban city events that draw a large numbers of visitors – locals and tourists.
In particular, the New Year’s edition of the Belgrade night market was marked by the holiday season, with products such as mulled wine and spirits, tea, candied apples, candy and a variety of silk product designs, ideal as gifts for the holidays.
The exhibitors prepared their specialties at the location, and the prices of food and beverages were promotional to all visitors who were able to try more products. So far, three events were held and around 60,000 people passed through the gates of city markets, young and old alike, parents with small children, and a large number of journalists and tourists. Performances of famous bands, quartets and DJs complemented the program.
A special program was prepared for our youngest and favorite guests who came with their parents. A special section was allocated for them, where they played and enjoyed the program.
BNM was organized by the company Redesign d.o.o. and JKP City Markets, with the support of the city of Belgrade and the Tourist Organization of Belgrade.
The VTC company was in charge of the PR activities in promoting this event. The results of these activities were numerous articles, information on the most visited websites, radio shows, TV coverage and media participation.
